Dear friends,
Welcome to SOLA Dental! We are thrilled to have you as a part of our dental family and want to make your experience at our office truly exceptional. In order to introduce myself and help you understand my philosophy of treatment, I wanted to share my dental journey with you.
It all started with a fateful day on the playground in second grade. BAM! – while chasing my buddy during recess, I ran face-first into a metal swing set. My right front tooth was cracked in half, while my left front tooth fell out that night. My parents called our friends, a dentist and orthodontist, who urged us to put the tooth in a glass of milk and meet them at the office. After replanting my tooth, I underwent years of braces, root canals, cosmetic treatments and surgeries – you name it, I probably have had it done.
My time in the dental chair helped me become rather comfortable around dentistry. One day when I was 10 years old, I recall my mother telling me, “Jacob, you seem so comfortable with all these treatments. You might as well become a dentist!” This comment got me thinking about all the good things that my dentists had done for me. I admired their dedication and skill and wanted to help others in a similar way. From that day forward, I decided to dedicate my life to becoming a dentist and to perform dentistry at the highest possible level.
A few decades later, here we are! I absolutely love what I do and could not be more honored than to serve others through dentistry. I can’t help but see myself whenever I see my patient in the chair. My mission is simply to be the dentist that I would have wanted for my childhood self. This conviction is what I strive for and what I aspire to be each day.
