MEET DR. DENIAKOS
Dr. Deniakos is thrilled to bring his robust professional and personal experiences to SOLA Dental. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and is a military veteran. As an Air Force officer, Dr. Deniakos completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in California. He was then stationed in Alabama, where he went on to pursue his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Today, Dr. Deniakos continues to stay up to date with the latest in techniques and research through hundreds of continuing education hours each year. He is Sedation Certified and is passionate about all things digital dentistry, including CEREC ("same-day") crowns, 3D printing and digital smile design. Dr. Deniakos is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Louisiana Dental Association (LDA), the Acadiana District Dental Association (ADDA) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He has served as the President of the Acadiana District Dental Association from 2024-2025.
In his practice, Dr. Deniakos often thinks back to his experiences as a young patient in the dental chair. Following a traumatic injury on the playground, he underwent many of the same procedures that he now performs for his patients. These experiences laid the framework for Dr. Deniakos’ calling in life and passion for dentistry. As a veteran, leader and clinician, Dr. Deniakos is excited to share his love for oral health with each person who walks through SOLA’s doors.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Deniakos enjoys playing golf, hiking, studying new languages and traveling. He loves spending time with his wife, Diana, and their three children, Matthew, Isabella and Alexandra. Dr. Deniakos is also an avid lover of music – he plays both the piano and guitar and sings.
